Adult Diploma

A state standard adult high school diploma has been developed and made available to Minnesota adults through the Adult Education system.This program is designed for students no longer eligible for K-12 services who are 21 years and older.

The Adult Diploma program offers different methods to demonstrate completion of the standard adult diploma program requirements:

Verified K-12 classes

Postsecondary courses and/or other approved trainings and experiences; test-verified knowledge

Adult Education instruction and applied learning projects 

In order to graduate with a state standard adult high school diploma and a Faribault Public Schools diploma, students must complete five competency domains:

1. Language Arts

2. Mathematics

3. Science

4. Social Studies

5. Employability and Career Awareness

 

Registration and completion of standardized testing in reading and math must be done at the Faribault Education Center before you start class. Please call 507-333-6472 for more information.
